A wonderful African-American group of 8 4 x 5-1/4" negatives. The photographs are of African-American soldiers during World War II. They came from the estate of a soldier/photo journalist whose last name was Quick. The images were for a story published in a magazine entitled "Blacks in the Military". The images show a group of 5 or 6 men at leisure, getting a haircut/shave, playing musical instruments, relaxing with magazines and more. A fascinating collection.
