Limited Edition of 99 copies printed for the members of the Leipzig Bibliophiles, 34 of which are printed on Japanese paper. This copy is number 3, belonging to M. Burckhardt, one of 34 on Japanese paper. 12mo. Hardcover. Very good. Full brown leather covered boards with gilt decoration to front board and gilt title to maroon title label on spine. Spine is dried, blackened and has a chip to the head. Minor bowing to boards. Binding is tight. Minor foxing to first and last few pages. Author's name has been rubbed off of title page. Else is clean and bright. Includes 7 wonderful woodcut illustrations. Drawings by Walter Tiemann and made into wood prints by Hanns Alexander Müller. A lovely candidate for rebinding. IN GERMAN.
