He also served as a state representative and U.S. congressman for Massachusetts. 16mo. Very good. Beige cloth backed blue paper covered boards. Minor browning to edges of boards and to spine. Bumping to spine ends and corners. Two small closed tears and one small hole to cloth. Minor rubbing to exterior. "392" written in red pen on front pastedown. Light browning and foxing throughout, though text remains bright. Untrimmed page edges. Inscription to front free end paper reads: "Rev. Dr. Gray, from his friend + brother, the Author." Another less legible inscription written in pencil below. 108 pages.
