First edition of this group of recipes designed by the Boston Cooking School Magazine to take full advantage of the potency of KC Baking Powder. Blanks at rear include recipes such as “Creamed Salmon in heart cases,” “Lemon Fluff Pie,” and an unidentified nut loaf. Hill (1852-1933) attended the Boston Cooking School, founded and served as editor of the Boston Cooking School magazine, and was an advocate of reforming cooking methods and recipes, as well as progressive concepts of scientific cooking, and cleanliness.
