New Hampshire, Republican Party, 1870a, Paper
Good
An attractive older double matted Republican Ticket Handbill or smaller broadside from Hillsboro County, Ward One, New Hampshire c1872. It features an image of Ezekiel A Straw for Governor. Also Edward Hodsdon for Railroad Commissioner. Austin Pike for Congress. Other state and county officials are also noted. Straw (1819-1882) served as Governor (1872-1874) after years as in both the House and Senate. The handbill is about 4 ¾” x 8”. Overall with the matting 8” x 12 ½”. The item does show some toning and very light wrinkles. A few spots of lighter toning than others. Overall still an attractive political piece.
