San Francisco, Arnstein, Simon & Company, 1932, Soft Covers
Good
Fashions for Men & Young Boys from Arnstein, Simon & Company of San Francisco. Spring/Summer 1932. Catalog of fashions for men and boys. Arnstein, Simon & Co. was a prominent 20th-century American woolen importer and textile merchant based in San Francisco, California. Founded in 1858 as a woolens supplier and fabrics merchant. This catalog features upscale men’s and older boy’s fashions. I believe this depicted a suit or overcoat so you could order the pattern. Today, the company is primarily remembered in historical and military collecting circles for being a major contracted manufacturer of US Army Great Seal uniform buttons. 9” x 12” and 16 pages. Mostly toned art. Order and measurement form is laid in. Mild cover wear and a few small dings on the 1st page. See images.
