Mexican Revolution 1911 & 1913: 2 photo views of the ruins of the Post Office at Juarez, mailed June 11, 1911 from Juarez to Denver: “This building is more of a wreck than I am, and that is going some.” “Juarez post office destroyed during Revolution 8 May 1911. Burned down by Revolutionaries forcing Federals to retreat.” With a postcard of the post office published in St. Louis, mailed from El Paso, December 4, 1913: “We were across the line yesterday to horse races and again today in the auto to see the places where the battle was the thickest. My but it is terrible - all of this building that is standing is parts of the brick part. Most of the buildings show results of the battle. We saw two train loads of Mexican Rebels start south yesterday.”
