1945-1947 - US 8th Army, 24th Infantry Division, Japan Occupation - Grouping of actual uniform & (2) photo albums belonging to Cpl. Henry E. T-------, of Springfield, MA.
The army division saw action throughout the Pacific theater; following the war's end, the 24th Infantry Division participated in occupation duties in Japan.
The Ike Jacket and pants are marked in Green with a laundry number T9853. There are 2 loose patches and a nice artillery belt and buckle. The jacket label is washed out and hard to read. It’s a size 38 and the pants are 33x33.
Photo album (1) has approx. 275 photos from war & post war Japan - album (2) includes approx.100 photos mostly family & Cpl. T-----'s Chevrolet Sedan.
The soldier's uniform is in very good condition; the two photo albums are in very good condition. Domestic s&h $20.
