1804. Full calf leather. viii, 424, xxccvii p, 16mo. [OCLC Number 1356468796]. There is one other known copy at the Biblioteca Casanatense in Rome, Italy. Musical scores in Latin & French. Excellent collectible condition.

The Roman Gradual plays a crucial role in the liturgical life of the Church by providing the musical framework for the Mass. It emphasizes the importance of singing the liturgy through Gregorian chants. The chants are designed to enhance the atmosphere of the Mass and to facilitate the congregation's participation in the liturgical celebration.
This volume is an abridgment of the Roman Gradual, containing the Masses of Sundays and feasts of the whole year ... augmented by the Trumpet Mass (that of 1804 Bonaud), the Thérique and the Célestine, with the rubrics in French and Latin.

Domestic s&h included.
