2022. SIGNED, FIRST EDITION. --"GHETTO GASTRO PRESENTS BLACK POWER KITCHEN" is 'part cookbook, part manifesto'. The book shows how creative disciplines like cooking and food can shape identity and ideas about community. With (75) flavor packed, mostly plant-based recipes, storytelling, diverse voices, striking photo images. There's an introduction written by Thelma Golden, Director & chief curator of the Studio Museum of Harlem.

Ghetto Gastro formed in 2012 as a New York-based collective of chefs and food enthusiasts with deep ties to the Bronx-- its founding members were these three author/chefs Jon Gray, Pierre Serrao and Lester Walker.

Cookbook is clean, square, bright, tight & sharp-- a hint of light rubbing here and there to the boards. Wrap-band present and in fine shape.

Domestic s&h $15.
