DESCRIPTION: Chicago, Illinois, 1947. Original black-and-white silver gelatin print on heavy double-weight photographic stock. Measures 9 × 11.5 inches including the original broad lower margin.

CONDITION: Very Good. The print is structurally sound, flat, and intact. The image demonstrates crisp focus with strong tonal depth and high detail resolution across the mid-tones and shadows. Very minor age-consistent corner handling to the heavy photographic stock; the verso remains clean and unblemished. The lower margin retains the legible original ink notation by Cronquist without fading or bleeding.
