Nancy Wakeman is an American poet associated with the San Francisco Bay Area small-press movement. Her writing has appeared in literary journals such as Ambush Review, Bay Area Poets Seasonal Review, and The Alembic. In addition to poetry, she wrote a juvenile biography, "Babe Didrikson Zaharias: Driven to Win", about the legendary athlete. A later collection of her work is "Shooting Arrows at the Moon", which combines poetry and prose poems.
