An excellent memoir, by this American journalist who covered the entire cycle of the Mexican Revolution as an Associated Press correspondent with Pancho Villa’s army. Turner made the observation of the battle 1910 - 1911 about the innovative tactics of Madero's generals Orozco and Pancho Villa which forced the surrender of General Navarro's Mexican Army in May, 1911. The revolutionaries had recruited many of the Boer War veteran mercenaries, along with Giuseppe Garibaldi II, and even Tom Mix, famous Western movie star.
