Spain, 1976
On 12 November 1976, the Partit Socialista Unificat de Catalunya (The Catalan branch of the Communist Party of Spain) supported a general strike against austerity measures implemented by the Spanish Government. About 500,000 workers across the country participated in the strike. This 7”x9” framed mini-broadside proclaims (translated):
