Hillbilly and You---Helping M.D.A sign offering a donation of 10 c for every loaf of Hillbilly Old Fashion Bread purchased from Fornaca Family Bakery. With an image of Muscular Dystrophy Association Chairman Jerry Lewis and poster child Mikey Neufeldt on the left. Large sign measures 12” c 24” and is on heavy cardstock.
San Diego-based Fornaca bakery is now closed, but I did find a 1992 article that said it was in business for 8 decades. Based on the poster child Neufeldt, likely from the 1980s. Apparently a very limited distribution as no other examples found online.
In good condition though it is a little dirty, particular on the reverse side, with light corner bumping.
