Framed broadside showing a winged Uncle Sam being confronted by one of the 99% in support of the Occupy Wall Street movement of 2011. Strong graphic image with "OWS", a fist and chains being broken at bottom. Scarce broadside measures about 12”x18” and is framed under Conservation Clear acrylic (99% UV protection). Documentation on a similar one described in the New York Library notes Occupy Wall Street Archives Working Group Records notes that was collected for the archive on Nov 7, 2011, which agrees with an image of one found during a visit to the Occupy Wall Street temp camp in early Nov, 2011. https://medialectic.wordpress.com/2016/11/30/inside-the-occupy-wall-street-camp-november-2011/ (toward the bottom).
Printed with broad areas of dark blue ink on thin paper, with light creasing and a few small splotches of blue ink overrun. Plastic frame also has some loss on top as shown.
