Lovely fine press booklet: Prison Experiences of a Suffragette by Winifred Mayo, a militant British suffragette who was sentenced to 6 weeks in prison at Holloway Gaol. This story, original published in The Idler and Elbert Hubbard’s The Fra in 1908, is embellished in this 2012 printing with a Vote for Women cover in the suffragist colors of green and white.
Printed for the combined meeting of the Zamorano and Roxburghe Clubs by the Clinker Press (Pasadena), October 2012. In near fine condition.
