Beautiful poster depicting Ray Bradbury’s play Past, Present & Future at the Court Theatre in West Hollywood. The ghostly, moody blue poster is signed in silver ink by Bradbury and over twenty members of the cast and crew, including the director and co-founder of Bradbury’s Pandemonium Theatre Company, Charles Rome Smith. Artwork is by Bradbury’s frequent collaborator, Joseph Mugnaini. I've examined the signatures under a loop and they are original, on top of the printed artwork.
11”x17”, professionally shadow-box framed under glass to a size of 15”x20”. Very good condition with a little scuffing to edges of frame. May be expensive to pack and ship; query for an estimate to your zip code.
From a 2002 review on TalkingBroadway: God bless Ray Bradbury. The prolific science fiction author surely doesn't produce $15 a ticket plays at small theatres in Los Angeles for the money. He must do it because, despite achieving massive success as a novelist and short story author, he simply loves theatre and desires the immediate audience connection that comes from having his words performed, rather than simply read. Watching Bradbury: Past, Present, and Future, an evening of three of Bradbury's one-act plays, one is left with the inescapable conclusion that Ray Bradbury is "theatre people."
