A very attractive publication extolling Mexico’s history, architecture, painters and scenic beauty, really an invitation to the tourist to enjoy all that Mexico has to offer, and underlining the fact that Mexico City is the oldest city in North America. The journal only published seven issues and an unnumbered introductory volume. In December 1939, D.A,P,P. was replaced by the General Directorate of Information (D.G.I.), which became a subsection of the Ministry of the Interior.
