A Group of Three Early Works. New York: Charles Scribner’s Sons, 1920–1926. First editions, early issues.
The Beautiful and Damned. New York: Charles Scribner’s Sons, 1922. First edition, early state (with “Published March, 1922” on copyright page and without Scribner’s seal). Octavo, original green cloth stamped in blind and gilt. Minor shelfwear, spine dulled, rear hinge just starting. Lacks dust jacket. Small Brentano’s bookseller’s ticket to rear pastedown. Contemporary ownership inscription on front flyleaf in ink: “Theodora A. Ashamore / en route Washington to New York / (Apis excursion) / April 7, 1922” — a noteworthy date just weeks after publication. No ads at rear. A solid copy with early provenance, offering a snapshot of the novel’s initial readership.
All the Sad Young Men. 1926. First edition, later issue, with 1926 on both title and copyright pages, and without the “battered type” errors (pp. 38, 248). Original dark green cloth, gilt spine lettering, minor wear.

Ownership inscription on front flyleaf: “G. M. Fullerton / Sold to G. K. Davidson”. Minor wear, slightly cocked.
