11" x 14". Matted 16" x 20". Signed and dated. # 4 of 4. Bill was not one for accolades. However, several of his intimates contrived to transport him to the event, possibly under false pretenses, Robert Hawley asking me to memorialize the occasion. Bill, at 75, managed the whole affair with grace. He confided in me shortly after that he was truly humbled by the affection bestowed upon him. He was making an exit when I managed to wrangle the three poets together for a quick photo. Bills patience may have waned a bit! I initially made 4 prints which I numbered, dated and signed leaving them with Peter Howard to distribute. However, in the vastness that was Serendipity Books, they were unlocated until shortly before Peters demise when they were retuned to me.
