Small group of ephemera from the Young Socialist Alliance (YSA), a Trotskyist organization affiliated with the Socialist Workers Party.
The material consists of the following six pieces:
-- the March 1969 edition of Young Socialist magazine, a 24-page edition celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Cuban Revolution.
-- a 1969 letter from the YSA's New York office to two men in West Virginia who had requested information on the YSA ("Looking at the map, I see that Huntington, West Virginia seems...pretty far from everywhere," the letter states, although the letter writer helpfully provides some potential contacts).
-- a brochure about the YSA (order form filled in).
-- an ad sheet promoting revolutionary posters.
-- an ad sheet for "Young Socialist Buttons" (order form filled in).
-- a Young Socialist subscription form.

Shipping and Returns
All books are offered subject to prior sale. We attempt to describe any defects we see and to note the presence of bookplates and previous owners' signatures. We unconditionally guarantee the authenticity of author signatures and inscriptions.
All items may be returned within 15 days of receipt and must be in the same condition as originally shipped. Please notify us before returning a book.
We accept all major credit cards issued in the U.S. as well as PayPal. (For clients outside the U.S., we strongly prefer PayPal.) We also accept checks drawn on U.S. banks from customers known to us. Shipments to New Jersey addresses will be charged 6.625% sales tax unless the buyer is tax-exempt.
We gladly offer deferred billing to libraries or other institutions.
We ship books through the U.S. Postal Service. If you would like us to use another carrier, please let us know. Within the U.S. we offer shipping by USPS Media Mail for $7 for the first book and $3 for each additional book. USPS Priority Mail is $15 for the first book and $4 for each additional item. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 pounds, or 1 kilo. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required.
Orders from outside the U.S. will be billed at cost, but will likely be at least $30 and possibly more, depending on the location.
Important note to buyers outside the U.S.: Any customs duties, taxes, or fees are the responsibility of the buyer. On customs forms, we declare the full value of the shipment.
