1910s Motorcycle Mechanic Handwritten Ledger Pre WWI

Details mechanical repairs, after market additions (head lamps and side cars), even paint jobs. Models identified are 1911, 12, 13 & ’16 Indians w/ mention of one ’15 Harley.

 

Some Indians are marked “Germany” in the margins which I presume refers to the Bosch Magneto but that’s never explicitly said. Neither is the term V Twin, but most of the Indian motorcycle entries are denoted 7 HP.

 

5.25 x 11.25” w/ something like 60 overall pages. (43) are filled out w/ single entries per page. Owners names and often towns are included (Monessen, Donora & Fayetteville Pennsylvania most common. Stands to reason there was an early board track central to those towns.
