First edition.- Heinrich von Perckhammer was shipwrecked in 1914 as a sailor in the Far East, from 1917 to 1919 he was interned in a Chinese camp. His photographic career began during this time and he remained in China until 1928.- On strong, chamois-colored paper.- Without the original dust jacket, which shows plate 32.

Erste Ausgabe.- Heinrich von Perckhammer gelangte 1914 als Matrose schiffbruchig in den Fernen Osten, von 1917 bis 1919 war er in einem chinesischen Lager interniert. In dieser Zeit begann seine fotografische Laufbahn und er blieb bis 1928 in China.- Auf starkem, chamoisfarbenem Papier.- Ohne den Original-Schutzumschlag, der die Tafel 32 zeigt.

Orders usually ship within 2 business days [M-F]. We will provide tracking for all orders. Items shipped via UPS Ground or USPS Mail should arrive within 4-14 business days. We ship from Hawaii. Media Mail can take up to 14 - 20 days just to reach the West Coast by ship. Therefore we ship all smaller and regular sized items within the US by Priority Mail without additional cost to the customer. Oversized or heavy books might have to be shipped by Media Mail.
