Presentation copy, being the first copy of the book, inscribed to the editor from the printer on the first page: "Copy number 1 - to Joel from Noel / October 3, 1940." The Grape Festival, held in Marin, began in 1899 to raise funds for "Sunny Hills," a Presbyterian orphanage in the hills of San Anselmo. At one time, the festival was Marin's premier charity event. Apparently, 1940 is the only year the festival issued a cookbook. Quite scarce.

Media Mail can take up to 14 - 20 days just to reach the West Coast by ship. Therefore we ship all smaller and regular sized items within the US by Priority Mail without additional cost to the customer. Oversized or heavy books might have to be shipped by Media Mail. If you're dissatisfied with your purchase (Incorrect Book/Not as Described/Damaged), you're eligible to request a refund within 30 days of the estimated delivery date.
