Booklet, black and white photo illustrations, color folding map (sheet size 21 x 26 inches) tipped in to interior of back cover. Red pictorial paper wrappers. Red damp stain to upper right corner throughout booklet which affects the upper left corner of the map and a few small areas of map at the folds but is not distracting to the visual impression. Good Condition.

Highlight is a brightly colored street map "Thomas Bros. Map of the City & County of San Francisco" with a listing of Points of Interest in the right margin. The map is enlivened with small pictographs highlighting points of interest. Hunter's Point is marked as a Naval Reservation; indications of the land reclamation to take place in that area are present in dotted lines extending from the south tip numbered with street names. The California Golf Club is no longer marked in the vicinity of Laguna de la Merced.
