Ribbon measures 6 x 2 inches with bent corner and light soiling. Good Condition.
Signed note is 9 1/2 x 5 7/8 inches. Several ink smudges. Apparently removed from scrap book with glue remnants on back. Good Condition.
Biography is 12 3/4 x 8 inches. Chips to edges. Carbon copy with one, two letter typed correction. Good Condition.
Nifty little collection of Knute Nelson ephemera. Nelson was a politician serving in both Wisconsin and Minnesota state legislatures before being elected to the US House of Representatives (1883-1889), Minnesota Governor (1893-1895) and US Senate (1895-1923). Having served in the Senate for 28 years, 55 days, he is the longest-serving Senator in Minnesota's history.
