Republican ticket for the 1876 Illinois elections including that for President and Governor. Republican Rutherford B. Hayes won his only term in office in this election. Shelby B. Cullom also won his first term as Governor of Illinois. He would go on to win re-election four years later, leaving that office in 1883 to become a four-term senator for Illinois.
