Book in fine condition covered by a plain wax paper dust jacket, now in mylar. The dust jacket is fragile and missing pieces at top edge. Fair condition.  Pamphlet lightly toned with edge wear; very good condition.

Obscure work of Sherlockiana with five detailed and illustrated maps from the pen of Julian Wolff, M.D.. Foreword by Christopher Morley and Introduction by Vincent Starrett. Photo of a statuette of Sherlock Holmes, by Edgard Smith tipped in as frontise. Signed by Smith Number 72 of 300 copies of which the first hundred in deluxe binding. 

A gazetteer of locations used in Sherlock Holmes books including a notation indicating which book the locale is from. 

The pamphlet includes subtitle of: "An examination of the evidence bearing upon the dating of a certain encounter in the chemical laboratory at St. Bartholomew's Hospital, in London."
