The Mobley family was deeply involved in starting and working at several Iron Furnaces in Pennsylvania including the Springfield Furnace and the Buffalo Furnace. It includes several ledger books detailing accounts for the furnaces along with many letters with great personal and business archiver from the 1840s to the 1870s.
