A remarkable 50 page handwritten Painter's Varnish Pocket Manual written in 1845 by William Fenster, possibly from Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. It is beautifully done for instructions on Wainscott, Coffins, and much more and includes 8 drawings by Fenster showing samples of his work. This was likely taken with him to show potential clients. It is missing the cover and first 2 pages are torn but it is otherwise complete and in good condition.
