“Autumn’s Grey and Melancholy” is an etching by Henry Farrer (1844-1903) published in the 1884 annual exhibit catalog of the New York Etching Club. It measures @ 4 x 6 inches. Farrer was a president of the New York Etching Club, the founder of the American Watercolor Society and one of the first artists to do etching in the U.S. Condition: Age-related foxing/discoloration at right. Top edge is rough from where etching was removed from catalog long ago.
