Soft cover album 9" by 7 1/4" with 28 watercolors tipped in. Pages foxed but paintings not. Binding starting and two loose leaves.
A series of very competent watercolor sketches. The majority are pastoral scenes in Holland including a hand powered river ferry, windmills, and village scenes. Also Derwentwater and Sutton Valence in the UK. Included are four botanical paintings and one of a lion and a hare. Some of the paintings are signed with the artist's name or initials and some have the location written in pencil.
