The Musketeers by Edley Craighill. Published by J. P. Bell Company, Lynchburg, VA (1931). Hardcover, 6" x 9" trim, FIRST EDITION, 344 pages, illustrated. Front and rear endsheets illustrated in color. Very Very good condition in original light-blue & clear mylar plastic wrapped dust jacket. The book itself has a dark blue cloth cover with gold lettering. The book includes the reminiscences of the performance of The Lynchburg Musketeers of the Virginia Infantry during its life as a company, in the First US Army and a record of the individual members at home and in Europe during World War I. Also contains some materials on the unit's activities in the Civil War and the Mexican War. Foreword by Carter Glass. The hardcover is a beautiful blue mottled color. Very interesting and scarce title.
