Prophylactic Materials Are Available in this Orderly Room

Poster is 16 1/2 x 22 1/2 inches. 1 1/2-inch closed tear at bottom extending into poster.  Several horizontal and vertical creases. Jet black print almost appears to be silvering when viewed at an angle, similar to a gelatin silver photograph. Light soiling. Verso is blank. No date, no place. Slight curl to poster. Good condition.

Military poster for soldiers going on pass or furlough.

We'd hazard this dates from the 1920's but only a guess. Lower right-hand corner has perhaps an artist or printer signature which appears to read "Relm Selfridge Dielo". We find no record of the poster nor the possible artist(s).
